Naomi Campbell Wears Full Hazmat Suit To Airport Amid Coronavirus Fears

Naomi Campbell knows that looking good is only half as important as feeling good and the model is not taking any chances while traveling.

The supermodel showed up to the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX on Tuesday in a full hazmat suit to ward off any chances of contracting the Coronavirus at the airport.

Campbell was definitely pulling off the Coronavirus chic look in her hooded bodysuit, purple rubber gloves, green facemask, and clear glasses.

Been Wiping Down Planes for Years

Although this is the first time Naomi showed up to the airport in a full hazmat suit, she has been wiping down her airplane seats and tray for years. She made headlines last year after she shared her air travel routine in a YouTube video.

"This is what I do on every plane that I get on. I do not care what people think of me. It's my health and it makes me feel better," she said as the star strapped on rubber gloves and wiped down every surface she might make contact with.

Her Famous Friends Aren't Mad At Her

Campbell's famous friends did not see a problem with her traveling in style and many applauded the star.

"Riverdale" actress, Vanessa Morgan commented, "👏🏽👏🏽 People don’t even realize how bad this virus is gonna become. Good for you protecting yourself."

Former NBA star, Matt Barnes agreed with Naomi and wrote, "Safety first," while Holly Robinson Peete said, "Next level 🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽."

Her millions of followers also weighed in on her travel outfit and dubbed her the "Queen of hygienic travel."

"Legend honestly your ahead of us all 💋💋💋," an impressed fan commented.

Sending Love To Italy

Before heading to LAX, Campbell sent love to the entire country of Italy as it was announced that it is on lockdown due to the Coronavirus.

"My beloved ITALY Of which I spent the first 3 years of my early life . I’m with you . Thank you for always embracing me and giving me so much love 💚🤍♥️🇮🇹🙏🏾 #wishing speedy recovery #getwellsoon #holdonitaly," Campbell wrote in the caption of her post.

Italy has been placed on a "dramatic lockdown" as the coronavirus spreads throughout the country and Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced on Monday that the restrictions have been extended to the entire country.

"All the measure of the red zones are now extended to all of the national territory," Conte said during a press conference as they put a stop to all public events, including weddings, funerals, and sports gatherings.

The Prime Minister explained that the restrictions have been put in place to protect the citizens and the announcement of the lockdown comes after a long chaotic day filled with prison riots. Italy's death toll climbed to 463 after 97 people died since Sunday, according to CNN. The country's confirmed cases number 9,172, which is the most of any European Union country.
