In the trailer, Carell, Witherspoon and Aniston all seem to be arguing about how the news is delivered to viewers and what news people should be receiving.

As the trailer continues, the camera roams over the fictional "Morning Show" set.

The actual subject matter they're referring to isn't revealed yet, but we can be sure it's some kind of serious, ongoing event in the world, which could be any number of things.

Here's a small example of their testy exchanges:

Aniston: "Guess what? America loves me."

Carell: "I feel like people are screaming for honest conversation."

Witherspoon: "I think they want to know the person behind the facade."

There has been no premier date announced yet for the Apple original series, but it debuts on Apple TV + some time in the fall.
