'Modern Family' Star Sarah Hyland Does Push-Up Challenge In Tiny Shorts And Black Bra

Sarah Hyland ditched the extra weight from her shirt to bang out the push-up challenge!

The "Modern Family" star got down and gave her fans 10 push-ups on Wednesday night after being challenged by Nicole Scherzinger. Hyland explained that she has not worked out in two weeks as she prepared for her intense set.

"I'm gonna try and do this for you, Nicole," Sarah said to the camera as she got in position. "Just for you."

She admitted that it got hard at the end and her arms were visibly shaking as she completed the 10 push-up set. "Those were not on my knees," Sarah proudly declared.

She's Not Taking Any Chances

The social media challenge comes right after she said she is not taking any chances because she is more at risk due to her kidney dysplasia and endometriosis. Hyland has received two kidney transplants, her first from her father in 2012 and her she revealed that she had a second one back in 2018. She reported had about 16 surgeries to improve her health.

"I am obviously immunocompromised with my transplant history and am on immunosuppressants, so everything in this house is sanitized. I just took a shot of hand sanitizer, so we're good," she said on Brad Goreski's podcast, "Brad Behavior."

Luckily for her, she has her "life partner," Wells Adams to self-quarantine with... and lots of doggos.

"Grateful to have a life partner like @wellsadams amidst these frightening times. Keep those you cherish safe and home 💕," Sarah wrote on Instagram.

Finish Strong And Be Kind

Hyland has expressed her frustration with how people are handling the pandemic and panic shopping.

"The most annoying thing to me right now are young, healthy people who are raiding grocery stores, who are raiding pharmacies," Sarah said. "They're leaving people over the age of 60, who may not have a child to do their shopping for them, left to their own devices."

So to sum things up, be nice, stay home, and do push-ups... but don't do them on your knees unless you have to.
