Miley Cyrus & Cody Simpson Sport Matching Hair After Mullet Cut

Miley Cyrus is spending so much time with boyfriend Cody Simpson that they are starting to look alike. The 27-year-old "Party Up The Street" singer revealed some new photos with her Australian hunk on Tuesday and it is hard not to notice the couple who are both sporting shaggy hair. Miley Cyrus, who recently unveiled her new mullet cut, shared the snaps with Cody Simpson to her Instagram story. Fans have had mixed reviews about her hair change and even went as far as to attack her hairdresser over the snip.
In the photos, the couple is dressed low-key and both sporting plain tees. They are also each wearing black-rimmed sunglasses inside (because apparently, they are those people) so it is not helping the look-alike appearance. "Prince & Prince Neptune," Miley Cyrus captioned the pictures on her Instagram stories. FYI -- "Prince Neptune: Poetry and Prose" is Cody Simpson's new book and is his debut poetry collection so she is handing him a bone in the process. Miley Cyrus recently trimmed her mullet and showed off the shorter outcome for the new year.
"New Hair. New Year . NEW MUSIC!" the "Mother's Daughter" singer captioned a snap showing her fiercely posing on a bench after hanging out with Cody Simpson. While the reviews on Miley Cyrus' mullet are mixed, some of her celebrity friends are loving it. "So cute," Vanessa Hudgen wrote on the pic and added a heart-eyed emoji. "Do it, girl," Chelsea Handler commented. "Yooo cool mullet kid ???," her brother, Trace Cyrus posted on her snap. When Miley Cyrus first debuted the look in November, it did not go over well.
After she showed off the "modern mullet," fans attacked her hairstylist for chopping off her luscious locks and giving the superstar "the worst haircut" they've ever seen. Directing their anger over the look at the person who did the cutting, her hairstylist, Sally Hershberger, fans pounced. "This is the worst haircut I’ve ever laid my eyes on u call urself a hairstylist ?" stated one angry fan. They added that this haircut makes Miley Cyrus look like "she’s going through a meltdown again why can’t we ever win gonna go cry now bye! That was all.” Another stated, "Gross. WHHHHHHYYYYY??" Like Miley, her hairstylist did not sit back and take it. Instead, she clapped back at all the haters and put them in their place.
