Singer Miley Cyrus has released a sexually suggestive video called “Mother’s Daughter.” The glossy, yet graphic video celebrates females’ growing diversity and personal expression, with Cyrus’ mom, Tish, providing her own moral support.
The video mostly shows Cyrus dressed in a shiny red bodysuit, a cherry-red visor, and pointy, metal fingernails as she dances. As the video continues, women are shown in all their natural forms, though there is some mild nudity.

“I’m a freak, I’m a freak hallelujah,” is one of Cyrus’ early lyrics in the video.
Images quickly flash on the screen, in an almost subliminal fashion, like the messages “Not an object” and “Every woman is a riot.”

“Mother’s Daughter” also makes the point that people of every sexual diversity should be welcomed in the world, such as those from the transgender and LGBTQ communities.
One shot from the video is of a person wearing a T-shirt that says “They/Them.”
Women of all shapes and sizes are represented in “Mother’s Daughter” video, including an overweight woman, a woman with physical disabilities, and a girl with a Super Woman outfit.
“Don’t f–k with my freedom,” Cyrus warns. Cyrus’ mom, Tish Cyrus, also poses a striking image as she sips from a cup of tea.
