Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Settle Their Divorce Just In Time For Christmas

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have settled their divorce, and they finished the deal just in time to celebrate Christmas.
According to legal documents filed in LA County Court, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have hashed out details to settle the finances of their short-term marriage.
Sources close to the case tells The Blast, the negotiations of the settlement have been "amicable" and the couple was able to work out all the issues concerning money and property with their lawyers.

Our sources say the key to the discussion was the fact that the couple had an iron-clad prenup. At the time, we were told when the couple decided to get married, they worked out a very specific legal agreement that would make it very simple if they ever broke up. She gets hers, and he gets his.
As you can imagine, Miley and Liam are both extremely wealthy and had their own property going into the marriage. The prenup was "very specific" and covered all income and property so that it would remain in each of their names during the marriage and divorce.

Also, the couple did not have any children together so there is no need to discuss child support. The couple will not pay the other spousal support either.
The couple lived and filed for divorce in the state of Califonia, so the only issue to be discussed would be the earning made by either party while they were married. But, in this case, both stars made plenty of money so it's a not issue.
Both Miley and Liam have moved on since the split, Miley is currently dating Cody Simpson and Hemsworth has been seen out with a new girl too.
Interestingly, the couple was married on December 23, 2018, just a few days before Christmas. They tied the knot at Miley's Tennesse home during the holidays.
The couple issued a statement following the split, saying, "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."
Miley added, "I feel really happy and really fortunate to be with such a great person."
Hemsworth also said of the split, "Hi all Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward. This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love."
