Migos have agreed to pay back $30,000 to settle a legal battle over their Fyre Festival payday.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff have reached a deal in the Fyre Festival bankruptcy.

The band was paid $100,000 to perform at the planned Fyre Festival, which never went down. Per the deal, Migos agrees to pay back $30,000 to the trustee.

The docs read, “The Defendant shall pay the total sum of $30,000.00 (the “Settlement Payment”), as full and final settlement and complete satisfaction of any claims the Trustee has raised against the Defendant.”

As a result, once the judge signs off on the deal all claims will be dismissed against Migos.

Back in August 2019, the trustee presiding over Fyre Festival’s bankruptcy sued a bunch of celebrities who were paid to promote the music festival.

The trustee demanded the celebs return the money they received in an effort to pay off the millions owed to various creditors.

In one lawsuit, Blink 182 was sued for the return of $500,000 paid to the band who were set to headline Fyre Festival. Kendall Jenner was hit with a separate suit demanding she pay back $275,000 she was paid to promote the festival on Instagram. Model Emily Ratajkowski was sued over the $300,000 she was paid to post an ad on Instagram.

The trustee accuses Kendall and Emily of showing a “clear lack of good faith” because they didn’t let their followers know they were paid for the social media posts.

Further, “Nor did they inform their fans and followers that they ultimately decided not to attend the Festival because of problems with the Festival of which they and their agencies were uniquely aware."

ICM was sued over $350,000 paid to secure performances from Lil Yachty, Migos and Rae Sremmurd.

Billy McFarland, the man behind Fyre Festival, was sentenced to six years in prison on fraud charges. He pleaded guilty to the charges and is currently in prison. He was ordered to pay $26 million in restitution once he checks out of prison.

The lawsuits filed by the trustee is seeking the return of $14.4 million paid out from Fyre Festival. Billy McFarland is accused of spending $315,645 on personal expenses including a fancy New York penthouse.
