Kensington Palace announced Monday morning that Markle had gone into labor. "The Duchess went into labour in the early hours of this morning," the notification read.
The palace said Prince Harry was by his wife's side, and an announcement will be made when the birth occurs.
Speculation that the royal baby would arrive has been rampant, as an exact delivery date for the Duchess of Sussex was never given.
Last week, an ambulance was seen zipping through the grounds at Windsor Castle, but the palace shot down rumors that the baby had arrived.
