The ‘90210’ actor took to his own podcast to discuss the issue and addressed everything including her relationship with Machine Gun Kelly.
In the episode, Green explained the context of the photographs taken of his wife and MGK, telling his fans the duo is just “good friends.”
Brian confirms during his podcast that Megan Fox and himself are indeed separated and says it began last year after Fox spent 6 six weeks overseas working on a film.
He claims the couple became ‘distant’ and decided a trial separation was a good idea. Green admits he was ‘shocked and upset’ by the situation but says the relationship never improved.
During the podcast, Green gets emotional several times talking about his estranged wife, saying “I will always love her.” He pointed out that the couple has three amazing children, and hopes they can co-parent going forward.
As for Machine Gun Kelly, Green claims he has never met the rapper but Megan has said he is a “really nice and genuine guy” and he “trusts her judgment.” During the show, he seems to be suggesting that their relationship is not romantic at this time and he is just a good friend.
In the 30-minute episode, Brian Austin Green spends a considerable amount of time making sure the public knows not to vilify his wife or MGK — explaining there is also no ‘victim’ in this situation.
In the audio, he refers to Machine Gun Kelly by his real name Colson Baker.
Interestingly, he also addresses the photographs of MGK and Fox taken by paparazzi — and says it was just an unfortunate situation but understands why it became such big news.
In the end, Brian admits to his fans “it sucks when life changes” but leaves the door open for a possible reconciliation with his wife at some point in the future.
