Rapper Meek Mill is finally done battling in court over a shooting that took place outside a 2016 concert.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the family of a man named Travis Ward, who was killed in the shooting, have informed the court they are dropping their case against Meek. They state all claims against defendants are dismissed and the case is closed.
The shooting occurred in a parking lot outside the venue of Meek’s 2016 concert in Connecticut. Meek was facing three separate lawsuits over the incident but has now shut them all down. At one point, the families offered to settle with Meek for $3 million dollars.
