Fans of FX’ “Mayans M.C.” are riding high now that an upcoming Season 2 premiere date has been announced.
According to Nick Grad, president of programming at FX Networks and FX Productions, the series is performing exceptionally well.
“The series premiered as the highest rated cable series this year and continues to sustain a committed fan base, reflecting the talent and drive of creators Kurt Sutter and Elgin James.”

Grad continued:
“Mayans M.C. is performing fantastically, proving to be a breakout first season. We couldn’t be more excited to take this ride to a second season.”
That second season starts Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 10 p.m.

Popculture.com writes that Kurt Sutter announced he had been to the first table read for Season 2 of “Mayans M.C.” in May, so things are definitely rolling right along.
