Alright alright alright: Matthew McConaughey, that chameleon, will soon teach students at the University of Texas.
He’ll be a professor of practice in the Department of Radio-Television-Film starting this fall. The Moody College of Communication made the announcement on Wednesday.
The news isn’t that much of a surprise since he’s been a visiting professor there since 2015.
And he received a degree in film from University of Texas in 1993, so he knows the ropes.
Chances are good any class he teaches is already full, given he’s Matthew McConaughey, the enigma.
According to the university, the curriculum gives a
“behind-the-scenes view of each stage of a film’s production.”
He’s been in roles in Dallas Buyers Club, Wolf Of Wall Street, A Time To Kill and dozens more. Even people who aren’t majoring in film would probably want to sit in on a Matthew McConaughey class.
