Matt Barnes is happy he was able to score a larger share of custody than his baby mama, Gloria Govan, but now he wants to adjust how much he pays in child support, and feels he deserves a big time reduction.

According to documents, obtained by The Blast, Barnes has scored 71% of the time with his twin sons. Govan only has them for 29% of the time, yet she collects $20,000 per month from Barnes in child support.

The ex-NBA star says since he is now retired from professional basketball, his income is not what it was when the child support obligation was originally decided.

Barnes said he now makes around $150,000, and after using the court's child support algorithm, believes he should only be paying $2,798 per child, per month. That equates to a total annual payment of $67,148 to Govan for the boys.

He's asking that the court grant his request, and allow the smaller payments. Govan has not yet responded to Barnes' request, but no doubt she will fight the reduction.
