Mark Salling's Estate Seeks to Get Back $100,000 from His Criminal Case

By TheBlast Staff

10:44 AM PT — The judge granted the estate's request and ordered the court to "make a check payable to The Mark Salling Living Trust Dated October 28, 2017 in the amount of $100,000."

The estate of Mark Salling is looking to get back $100,000 cash the disgraced actor put up during his criminal trial to help secure his release.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the estate filed an application in federal court on Friday. The documents state that in 2016, Salling was granted pretrial release on a $50,000 appearance bond following his arrest on child pornography charges.

He then had to post an additional $100,000 cash deposit as part of his release.

The government eventually dropped the indictment against Salling following his death and now the estate wants the $50,000 bond exonerated and they are asking for the return of the $100,000 deposit.

A judge has yet to rule.
