Mariah Carey kept it classy as she had her record broken by Lil Nas X, as the icon congratulating the rapper for “Old Town Road” staying number one on the charts for 17 straight weeks.

The singer passed the torch to Lil Nas X on social media, writing, “Sending love & congrats to @LilNasX on breaking one of the longest running records in music history! We've been blessed to hold this record with a song that means a great deal to @BoyzIIMen and myself and has touched so many. Keep living your best life! ❤”
