Ex-NBA star Marcus Camby has reached a deal and will pay $4,000 a month in support for his secret child.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Camby and Noemi Valdez hashed out a child support and custody deal outside of court.

The two agreed that Camby is the father to Makiah Camby, born in 2011. Valdez will have primary custody and Camby will see his daughter two times a month, for three hours each visit.

Camby will pay $4,000 in child support per month and both of them will cover any medical expenses. He will not have to pay for private schooling unless he agrees on the specific school.

The settlement notes that Camby is fully paid up on his child support obligations to date. He will also pay $3,000 to cover Valdez’s attorney fees.

As The Blast first reported, Noemi Valdez sued Camby seeking child support and full custody of their 7-year-old daughter, accusing the former NBA star of having a “pattern of child neglect."

It does not appear she and Camby ever officially established paternity or support but she claimed Camby has never contested paternity.

Valdez sued the NBA star seeking child support and attorney fees.

Camby fired back at the suit, giving only a “general denial” and not specifically addressing the question of paternity. He demanded Valdez’s entire lawsuit be thrown out and she be ordered to pay his attorney fees.

Marcus Camby is married to his wife, Eva Camby, and they have been together for nearly two decades. They share two daughters.
