The mother of a woman who was shot dead in a Los Angeles area mall by her ex-husband is trying to stop the mother of her daughter's killer from getting custody of her grandchildren and is accusing the woman of assisting in the murder.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, Mariam Saddiqi is opposing the petition for temporary guardianship filing of Shelia Gregory.

Gregory and Saddiqi are the mothers of Kevin Crane and the late Parisa Saddiqi, who was murdered by Crane at a Los Angeles area mall last month. As we reported, Crane was a realtor to the stars who worked with clients like Big Sean and Travis Scott.

Mariam Saddiqi says Crane's mother, Gregory, is not fit to be appointed the guardian of the two grandchildren because she's allegedly "Under investigation by the Ventura County Sheriff's Department for aiding and abetting and encouraging" her daughter's murder.

Saddiqi also says Gregory had been keeping Crane's .40 Glock handgun after a domestic violence incident, but allegedly gave him the gun just before he went and shot his ex-wife in cold blood.

She says the grandchildren are currently with relatives of their deceased mother and well cared for, and does not want Crane's mother to get any custody while their father remains hospitalized from a self-inflected gunshot wound.
