Machine Gun Kelly was moved to write a song for his daughter after the shocking death of 21-year-old rapper Juice Wrld.

The rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, shared a screenshot of a sweet text message exchange with his daughter, Casie Colson Baker, to his Instagram.

"wrote her a song so i won’t have any regrets if my time ever comes," Machine Gun Kelly wrote in the caption of his post.

The text exchange showed that he sent an audio file to Casie after she requested to hear it. Unfortunately, the song can only be heard by her for now as the musician has not released it and has not said if he ever plans to. MGK, Travis Barker and Yungblud are all celebrating their record, “I Think I’m Okay” going gold. It is a meaningful achievement for Baker because people were afraid it was too outside of his comfort zone but it ended up being well received.

"this plaque means more than sales, we fought for this sound, everyone wanted me to stay doing the same shit, people thought I was crazy when I picked up the guitar, told me “this type of music isn’t relevant anymore” — but thank u @emonitela for giving us a sanctuary to come play it, and believe in it before the world did. thank u to my big bro @travisbarker and my British brother @yungblud and all my friends on the scene fighting to keep self expression and vulnerability and imperfection alive in music — F**K A WAVE THIS FOREVER ??????LOVE YA," MGK wrote detailing his emotions about the song.

Travis also posted about the achievement and wrote, "“I Think I’m Okay” is officially gold and we in album mode!!!!"
