Machine Gun Kelly Writes Song For Daughter After Juice Wrld's Death Just In Case 'My Time Ever Comes'

Machine Gun Kelly was moved to write a song for his daughter after the shocking death of 21-year-old rapper Juice Wrld.

The rapper, whose real name is Colson Baker, shared a screenshot of a sweet text message exchange with his daughter, Casie Colson Baker, to his Instagram.

"wrote her a song so i won’t have any regrets if my time ever comes," Machine Gun Kelly wrote in the caption of his post.

The text exchange showed that he sent an audio file to Casie after she requested to hear it. Unfortunately, the song can only be heard by her for now as the musician has not released it and has not said if he ever plans to. The 29-year-old loving father sent a cute message and said, "i love you beyond forever."

Jarad A. Higgins, who went by the stage name Juice Wrld, passed away on December 8th after suffering a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. The medical emergency happed while Chicago police and federal agents were conducting a search of his entourage and him. There are reports that the young star swallowed pills as authorities were conducting their search.

MGK was touched by the sad news that he passed and shared a tribute post to remember the fallen star. He included two pictures and gave his final farewell in the caption of his post.

MGK has always been very open about being a father and his love for his 11-year-old daughter, Cassie is well documented. The musician took her to Nickelodeon's 2017 Kids' Choice Awards at USC Galen Center in Los Angeles and often posts about her on his social media.

His fans and friends were touched by the rapper's latest gesture of love and sounded off in the comments.

Travis Barker showed his support by leaving ???a praying hands emoji in the comments section of MGK's post. Fellow rapper Mod Sun wrote, "Best dad ever."

His millions of followers were quick to sing his praises with comments like, "We need more dads like this right here !" and "❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️???? ? The most amazing dad ever!"

Loads of fans wanted to make sure Baker knew he was loved and that he would be around for a long time.

"Your time ain’t coming brother. ?" one supportive fan said while another wrote, That time ain’t coming for a while brotha. We gon be mobbing in wheel chairs with the whole squad ???♥️"

MGK, Travis Barker and Yungblud are all celebrating their record, “I Think I’m Okay” going gold. It is a meaningful achievement for Baker because people were afraid it was too outside of his comfort zone but it ended up being well received.
