12:30 PM PT — A rep for Luke Perry tells The Blast that a report stating that Perry is in a medically induced coma is "not true."

Luke Perry was hospitalized on Wednesday after possibly suffering a stroke at his home.

According to our sources, the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star was transferred to a hospital in Burbank. The Los Angeles County Fire Department confirms they responded to a call at Perry's home in the San Fernando Valley at 9:39 AM on Wednesday.

An emergency dispatch call made on Wednesday morning gave Perry's address and mentioned a stroke victim.

A rep for Perry tells The Blast, "Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital."

Kristy Swanson, who starred alongside Perry in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," tweeted her well wishes after the news broke, saying, "I just heard the frightening news about my dear old friend Luke Perry having a massive stroke. Luke honey I am praying so hard for you right now, I love you so much, and by God’s Grace you will get through this. Please pray for Luke."

Perry's former "90210" co-stars Shannen Dohertyand Ian Ziering also voiced their support.

Perry currently stars on "Riverdale" as Fred Andrews, the father of Archie.

His hospitalization came on the same day it was announced that a "90210" reboot starring Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris and Brian Austin Green was in the works.
