Lori Loughlin has been handling the college admissions scandal with a smile, and even a few autographs, but after a new indictment has her facing up to 40 years in prison her smile has gone missing.
The former "When Calls the Heart" star was seen Wednesday heading to an office building in Santa Monica. Photogarphers hurled questions at Loughlin regarding the new indictment that was handed down to her, and 15 other parents, by the U.S. Attorney alleging conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Unlike Felicity Huffman, Loughlin and husband, Mossimo Gianulli, did not cut plea deals with the prosecutors that guaranteed minimal punishment.
Loughlin is currently facing up to 40 years in prison, 20 years for the fraud charges and 20 for the alleged money laundering.
