Lizzo is the biggest new star to hit the music world, and she’s making sure everyone knows she’s literally 100% That Bitch!
According to documents obtained by The Blast, Lizzo filed to trademark the lyric “100% That Bitch” and lists a ton of merch she plans on slapping the phrase on.
The line is from her 2017 hit song, “Truth Hurts,” which has amassed over 30 million views on YouTube.
“I just took a DNA test, turns out I’m 100% that bitch,” the line in the song exclaims.
According to the document, filed by Lizzo’s LLC on June 10, she plans on using the phrase for clothing merchandise, like t-shirts, jackets, jerseys, beanies, hats, bandanas and wristbands.
The “Juice” singer also wants to make sure her lyric is cleared for any music or entertainment based recordings she plans on marketing.
The 31-year-old star from Detroit, Michigan is one of the hottest singers in the industry at the moment.
She performed Thursday night during the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame 50th Annual Induction and Awards Dinner at the New York Marriott Marquis in honor of inductee Missy Elliot.
Lizzo, who recently collaborated with Missy on “Tempo,” performed the star’s 1997 hit, “Sock It 2 Me,” and even brought out Da Brat on stage to perform her verse in the song.
47-year-old Elliot became the first female hip-hop artist inducted into the HOF, and was praised for not only writing her own lyrics, but for years of penning hits for artists like Beyoncé, Destiny’s Child and Ariana Grande.

Former President Barack Obama also filmed a message for the Misdemeanor star, and said, “Missy, I want to thank you for all of your trailblazing ways.”
Obama continued, “Thank you not for just sharing your gift with the world, but for being an advocate for so many people out there, especially young girls who are still figuring out how to make their voices heard.”
During her speech, Missy held back tears while telling the crowd, “I am thankful.”
