“Little Women: Atlanta” star Ashley “Minnie” Ross is dead after suffering fatal injuries from a hit and run.
A statement was posted to the reality star’s Instagram revealing the tragic news. It read, “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka “Ms Minnie” of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Ashley starred on the Lifetime reality show for six seasons which the new season set to air this year. She was an original cast member joining in 2016.
The last photo Ashley posted on social media was with her costar Amanda Salinas on April 18. She wrote, “
I’m screaming HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVES @amanda.twin @drea.twin enjoy y’all day and just know I love y’all so much my day 1’s ?????????? #HB #tinytw.”
Last month, the reality star was celebrating rapper Juvenile’s birthday. She shared photos from his celebration writing, “’m screaming so loud Happy Birthday to my big brother and my favorite rapper! He’s always going to be the goat in my book! Enjoy your day bro and many blessings your way! Love ya ??????”
Last year, Ashley was arrested for a DUI in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The last season of “Little Women: Atlanta” was described as a “dive deep into the world of hip hop music, performance, and culture that will stir up big rivalries. The Cheeks, Briana Barlup and Emily Fernandez, return to Atlanta, to take on their long-time foes The Tiny Twinz, as they compete to prove they are hip-hop heavy hitters and rising stars. Minnie is also looking to establish her own spot in the rap world by continuing to challenge the reigning Queen of Atlanta, Ms. Juicy.”
