A South Carolina man ventured into the wild to perform the iconic introduction to “The Circle of Life” from “The Lion King” — with the help of a donkey named Nathan — and it has us laughing out loud!
Travis Kinley’s video has now gone viral on Facebook with over one million views.
On July 25, Kinley posted a video of him singing the opening song to Disney’s classic animated film, “The Lion King.”
The video features some other farm animals but it was Nathan that stole the show. Nathan chimed in at the perfect time and made for quite the viral moment.
“I had no idea Nathan would bray,” Kinley said to FOX Carolina on Friday. “You can see in the video I’m actually shocked when he does it! He’s brayed before, but never like that!”
Kinley decided to gather his animals outside to sing with them and Nathan decided to surprise him with his musical talents.
The actual words to the opening of the 1994 film are: “Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba Sithi uhm ingonyama. Nants ingonyama bagithi baba Sithi uhhmm ingonyama Ingonyama Siyo Nqoba Ingonyama Ingonyama nengw’ enamabala.”
If you don’t speak Zulu, Genius.com translates the lyrics to mean “Here comes a lion, father. Oh yes it’s a lion. Here comes a lion, father. Oh yes it’s a lion. A lion. We’re going to conquer a lion. A lion and a leopard come to this open place.”
