Lil Pump took his concert to the streets after someone hurled smoke bombs into the crowd and caused fans to scramble out of the venue.
The "I Love It" rapper was performing at Rock City in Nottingham, UK when the incident went down. According to video posted from fans inside the concert, people were scrambling for the exits coughing and trying to hold each other upright.
The person who posted the video said, "Shoutout to the twat who gassed" Lil Pump's concert. After the venue cleared out, it appears Pump kept the concert going by performing on top of his tour bus.
Fire trucks and emergency services could also be seen arriving to the venue. The hip-hop star later went on his IG and explained somebody threw "three smoke bombs," and claims he almost fainted from the smoke.
One witness of the incident, who is now at the hospital, said, "so i was at a lil pump concert and someone threw tear gas into the crowd and i ran out choking and crying and struggling to breath and now i’m in hospital."
Local law enforcement tell us it's not being considered a "major incident," and they are mainly assisting with the fire department. It's currently unclear if anyone has been arrested.
Nottinghamshire Police released a statement saying, "Officers called 9.30pm tonight to reports of a smoke flare or similar set off inside Rock City. Venue evacuated and medical colleagues treating four people for suspected minor injuries. Please avoid the area."
