Lil Nas X Says 'Old Town' Road Is Not About Being Gay

Lil Nas X had a big announcement over the weekend, but he doesn't want fans to think every piece of music he puts out has a hidden message about his sexuality.

The hip-hop star took to Twitter on Monday morning and let the masses know, "old town road is literally about horses."

Lil Nas X was the biggest news of the weekend -- other than Taylor Swift -- after coming out as gay on the last day of Pride Month.

The star has been receiving messages of support and congratulations from the masses, but of course there are some poking fun at his famous hit, "Old Town Road," and some of the lyrics ... which are now being horribly misconstrued and sexualized.

It's a shame that the star even needed to set the record straight on his hit song with Billy Ray Cyrus, but after being ambiguous with his messages, Lil Nas X wants to be crystal clear.

After telling fans, "I made it obvious" about his sexuality, the singer suggested everyone go give his song, "C7osure" a close listen.

He tweeted Sunday afternoon that, "some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure.
