Are Liam Payne and His New Girlfriend Lying About Her Age ... And Maybe Even About the Entire Relationship?

So, Liam Payne says his newest girlfriend, Maya Henry is 19. But fans are wondering if that is her real age and...if they are actually dating at all?

Payne and Henry dated in the past but lost touch for a little while. They started seeing each other after he and baby mama, Cheryl broke off their relationship. Once he and Maya lost touch, Liam went on to have a short fling with model Naomi Campbell and then, model Duckie Thot.

Those two relationships were short-lived. Payne and Henry reconnected later on and decided to try their relationship again. Although they started dating again, they kept things quiet with respect for Liam's baby mama until finally going public in August.

Once the couple was spotted out in public together, Liam finally confirmed the relationship to MTV News, gushing about it to them, saying:

"Now that I’ve found someone who’s genuinely my best friend — as well as my partner — it’s massively changed things for me. She’s just so relaxed about everything and someone who’s completely got your back with everything, (it) is just the wildest thing. I don’t think I’ve ever really experienced that before in someone, so that’s quite a wonder to watch actually.”

Although this is the scoop about Liam and Maya currently, his fans don't think he is telling the truth about everything. Especially, about her real age, and maybe even about the relationship itself. Why are they thinking this way, though? You may be wondering.

One fan even went as far as to post their own conspiracy theory on Twitter on Monday. Here is what they had to say:

“Every article about Liam’s girlfriend says she’s 19 when she’s actually 18.

This is intentional because when fabricating this ridiculous PR campaign for her they said that they’ve been together for a year, which would mean that Liam was dating a 17 y/o.

She’s a senior in HS.

Woah, there! That is one serious claim and speculation. Are you sure about that?

Although there is a little investigation going on about this to try to uncover the real truth, Liam did respond with this comment a couple of days later:

“19 don’t believe everything you read on the internet ?”

So, about that little investigation on her real age. First of all, the young model has a very impressive social media following. Seriously, the girl has 181,000 Youtube subscribers and more than 231,000 Instagram followers. Yeah, she's pretty popular but she is a model and young after all. She also has a public birthday of June 15, 2000, which would make her, indeed, 19.

So, why would fans think her being 19 is a big lie? Well, for the main fact that a few years ago, her very rich father spent a whopping $6 million on her 'quinceañera. Although this is a very large amount of money, it was her 15th birthday after all. The celebration was so huge, her father had singers like Pitbull and Nick Jonas perform for it. The celebration was also covered by major media outlets including Inside Edition and DailyMail.com

Wow! And, not only that but we have a video to prove it to you. Seeing as how that was her 15th birthday celebration and that was only about three years ago, this would, indeed, actually make her 18 now instead of 19. In fact, there is time-stamped footage and it is a fact that the large birthday event took place in March of 2016.

But, this isn't the end of it. Fans also think the whole relationship is one big publicity stunt which was started to increase Maya's profile.

And the whole conspiracy theory that the relationship might be a PR stunt for raising her modeling profile might sound a little far-fetched but this is a young girl, who is a model, and who has a very rich father who is a big-time lawyer out of Texas who not only bought her two Rolando Santana dresses for her big 15th birthday celebration but spent $6 million on the celebration.

So, is it really that far-fetched to think that maybe, just maybe, her rich daddy is paying Liam a large amount of money to pretend to date his little girl to increase her following for her modeling career? Not really, right?

Then, there is the fact that every picture that was from her 15th birthday party and was posted on Instagram, were all deleted. Including one where she is seen posing with the then band, that which Liam is originally from, One Direction. Hmm. maybe she asked her daddy to buy them for her!

Of course, Liam could be right too. Maybe we shouldn't believe every little thing we read online.
