Lea Michele Reappears On Social Media For First Time Since 'Glee' Scandal

By Whitney Vasquez

Lea Michele has made her social media return, posting for the first time since issuing an apology to her "Glee" castmates. The 33-year-old star, who became a household name for playing Rachel Berry on the hit musical series, reappeared when she posted a picture of herself on her Instagram Story ahead of the July 4th weekend. She has kept quiet on the social media giant for the past month after issuing an apology for her unjust behavior on set that was exposed by former "Glee" star Samantha Marie Ware.

Despite keeping her head down since June 3, Lea Michele made her triumphant return by showing she's soaking up Mother Nature. Posing a photo showing herself hiking through the great outdoors, the mom-to-be wore tight black yoga pants and proudly flaunted her bare belly. Dressing only in the workout bottoms and a matching sports bra, Lea Michele wore her hair in a ponytail and followed guidelines by covering her face with a mask for protection.

The actress did not add any context to the photo but it speaks for itself. Lea Michele is moving on and trying her best to get past the drama that nearly ruined her career.

As The Blast reported, Samantha Marie Ware came out with some pretty serious allegations against the "Glee" star. Ware accused Lea Michele of making the set “a living hell" and said that the star threatened to “shit” in her wig. Following Ware's public accusations, several other former 'Glee' co-stars, as well as ones from different sets chimed in, even Matthew Morrison.

Lea Michele acted quickly, issuing an apology that fans called "weak." Addressing the controversy last month, the actress wrote, "One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we need to take the time to listen and learn about other people's perspectives and any role we have played or anything we can do to help address the injustices that they face."

Lea Michele continued by stating she didn't recall those events ever taking place. "I don't remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or the color of their skin." While she defended herself, fans called for her cancelation almost immediately.
