Larry King revealed he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer after his doctor found a "spot" during a routine checkup.
King says he had the surgery July 17 at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, and after a biopsy, removed the malignant tumor. He says the doctors categorized the cancer as, "stage 1."
The legendary broadcaster says he blames the health scare on his smoking habit, which he gave up over 30 years ago.
King also joked about what he thinks will be his actual demise, saying, "I'll die on the air probably."
