Sharing a compilation of several homemade videos and photos with his grandpa, Elza "Shorty" Pulliam, Bass wrote a tear-jerking tribute to his papa.

"Today we lost a true angel on earth. My Papa has moved on to his next adventure in the stars," the singer began his post.

Revealing his grandpa spent his 93 years in Ellisville, Mississippi, Bass says he spent his life "spreading genuine kindness, selflessness, and a larger than life humor to all those who crossed his path."

He was a Korean War veteran and "despite some harrowing times in combat he never let those experiences dim his light."

Lance Bass speaks from the heart when revealing what he'll miss most about his grandpa.

"What I’ll remember most fondly about my Papa was his ability to make everyone around him laugh, and he did just that until the very end," he stated.

Saying he got "my wicked sense of humor and knack for scaring people from my papa," the singer vows to keep his memory alive "every time I say one of my cheesy jokes or scare my husband (see #LanceScares—sorry, Michael!)."

Ending his heartfelt message, Bass says, "I love my Papa with all my heart and although this isn’t easy for me and my family we are at peace knowing he spent his long life doing what he loved surrounded by the people he loved most."

"Until we meet again, Papa. Love you forever."
