Kylie Jenner is facing backlash from fans who are questioning her face washing abilities and the product after the makeup mogul posted a video using her new Kylie Skin Foaming Face Wash.
In the video, the “KUWTK” star is seen washing her face for about 10 seconds before grabbing a towel to dry off. Fans were quick to point out the foundation residue still left on the white towel.
This left her brand’s 44k Twitter followers wondering if she has the knowledge to have her own skincare line. Not only did they critique the length of time she took to wash, fans also slammed her for using a filter when promoting how well her product works.
“This just proves that Kylie did no type of research and doesn’t know what she’s doing at all, not even caring she might be damaging her fans faces with horrible advice,” one person tweeted. “You washed your face for 2 seconds. You’re using a filter. You still had makeup come off on the damn towel. LEARN HOW TO WASH YOUR FACE. God damn. How hard is this? Basic hygiene y’all,” wrote another.
Some others commented:
“Imagine buying face wash from someone who doesn’t even know how to wash their face properly”
“I was gonna say sis takes 5 seconds and never washes her forehead”
“take the filter off, give ur costumers the full truth at least”
“It got more make-up on it than my whole face does yikes”
This isn’t the only Kylie Skin product that fans are up in arms about. When she debuted her walnut scrub that’s “gentle enough to use every day,” followers were quick to question the safety of the product’s ingredients.
Regardless of the backlash, Kylie Jenner’s skincare line launched (and sold out) last week.
