Jay Cutler Catches The Chicken Serial Killer!

"Ok. Long night. Had a pretty good storm come through. All is well and happy to report it was a raccoon. Which fits the evidence. Chicken heads were ripped off and bodies were left in the chicken yard. Gruesome stuff but [that's the] reality of the situation," Jay posted on Instagram.

He continued, "Ladies are now safe and sound. We can all sleep well for a few nights. Unfortunately, I'm sure this raccoon has some family members."

Jay was not clear on how he 'took care' of the problem, but we are guessing it will not be coming back anytime soon!

It's A Raccoon! See The Photos!

"IT WAS A RACOON THAT KILLED JAY CUTLER'S CHICKENS!" an ESPN reporter tweeted claiming to have cracked the case.

Several other fans got in on the action, making fun of the entire ordeal.

"Dang I was betting on the owl ~ glad this has been solved 👍🏻 a great job," one person wrote.

Another added, "I’m still saying it’s Jay himself. Guy wakes up in a semiconscious rage and slaughters these animals."

As you know, Jay has kept fans in suspense for days trying to figure out just who was killing his chickens. At first, he suspected it could be his cat, Thelma, but was able to rule out his pet.

This Situation Got Serious!

The situation got so serious, Cutler mounted five cameras in his yard to try and capture an image of the chicken murderer and even camped out on his porch with night vision goggles.

Of course, the cameras didn't work at first, so Cutler decided he would trap the animal. The decision came with hilarious consequences, as it didn't work, and the Racoon even was able to get in and out with being trapped OR photographed.

In the end, he got his answer, and everyone is now safe.

As for Cavallari, as we said, she is back to work modeling smoking hot bikinis!
