Kourtney Kardashian's Boyfriend Younes Bendjima Claims Self-Defense In Assault Court Battle Involving Drake

By Ryan Naumann

Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend Younes Bendjima says the only reason he got into a nightclub fight was a drunk man attacked him.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Younes has finally responded to the lawsuit brought by a man named Bennett Sipes.

Bennett is suing Bennett, Drake, and Odell Beckham Jr. over an alleged assault that went down at Delilah nightclub on March 24, 2018.

In newly filed documents, Younes denies all allegations of wrongdoing. Younes claims he was using self-defense during the incident. He alleges “his use of force was to prevent a threatened battery, in that a reasonable person would find such force necessary circumstances.”

He argues that he was assisting someone else he thought Bennett was assaulting. Younes accuses Bennett of “twice battered this answering defendant, while heavily intoxicated, before any warnings were even issued.”

Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend is asking the court to dismiss all claims against him.

In the lawsuit, Bennett accuses Younes along with members of Drake and Odell’s entourages of beating him assaulting him inside the club. He was at the club to visit his girlfriend, Sommer Ray, who was in the VIP section talking to Drake, OBJ and Younes.

Bennett says when he approached his girlfriend, an argument started between him and the three men. He claims when he went to leave the VIP area, he “witnessed Defendant Drake signaling to his private security a hand gesture of ‘throat slash,’ after he pointed at Plaintiff. Plaintiff understood this to be some type of physical threat towards himself.” He proceeded to the bathroom but claims Younes and members of Drake and Odell’s entourage proceeded to “push, shove, kick and repeatedly punch Plaintiff in the face and body.”

Drake and Odell have denied all wrongdoing in the case. Drake pointed to the footage saying it showed Kourtney’s ex fighting NOT him. The rapper recently asked the court to move the trial date due to his work commitments.

The case is ongoing.
