Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou have had a pretty relaxed custody arrangement in regards to their 10-year-old son, but that’s all about to change as the two stars are actively working towards an official agreement.
Sources close to the couple tell The Blast, attorneys for both stars have been on the phone Wednesday hashing out a privately mediated visitation agreement that will clearly outline when and where each parent will have custody of their son, Kenzo Lee Hounsou.
Earlier this week, the “Avengers: Endgame” star was seen on video complaining that he didn’t get to see his son on Father’s Day, and heavily implied that Kimora was responsible for keeping the child away from him.

“It would have bee nice to see my son on Father’s Day,” he told photographers.
Sources close to Kimora tell us Hounsou has been allowed to see his son all that he wants, but claims the star has chosen not to take advantage of the time to hang out with Kenzo.

The other issue is that Hounsou, who is from Benin, West Africa, apparently regularly travels outside the U.S. back to Africa.
We’re told Kenzo primarily lives with his mother in the U.S. and traveling out of the country would heavily impact his schedule.
Luckily, we’re told both parents want to get an arrangement set in stone that works for everyone, and they are in agreement on providing the best situation for Kenzo.
Interestingly, Kimora shares children with former Def Jam mogul, Russell Simmons, and on Father’s Day the fashion model posted a sweet message to him with pictures of their family.
“We all love you so much! Thanks for all that you do and for always being there with us!” Kimora wrote.
No such message was posted by Kimora regarding Hounsou, but he took it upon himself to post a photo of Kenzo and wished “fall fathers” a good day.
Hopefully, next year will be a better Father’s Day for the star and a more peaceful time with his child’s mother.
