Kim & Khloé Kardashian Join Kris Jenner for Opening of UCLA Health Center Named After Their Father

By TheBlast Staff

Kim and Khloé Kardashian honored their late father by helping to open a health center in his honor.

The sisters joined forces with momager Kris Jenner to attend the Tuesday night opening of UCLA's heath center named after their father Robert Kardashian.

The Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health comes 16 years after their dad passed away from esophageal cancer at the age of 59.

“So proud to announce the Robert G Kardashian center for esophageal health being launched at UCLA,” Kim wrote on Twitter. “My wish is that other families can have more information and we can also focus on health and prevention.”

She added, “We have been planning this for a year now and I am so proud.”

Khloé mirrored Kim's excitement, posting in the car on the way to the event. "We're really excited. It's been years and years in the making and I just can't believe it's now going to be a reality and we're so excited and honored," she said.

In a video, the KKW founder also shared that several of Robert's side of the family came to support. Kourtney and Kendall were also there, but Kylie and Rob did not.

Guess we'll have to wait for the next "KUWTK" season to find out why.
