Say goodbye to "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." After 14 years, the famous reality family is ending their TV reign on E! Kim Kardashian announced the "difficult decision" moments ago, informing her 188 million Instagram followers that next season will be their last. Posting one of the first images of their early TV years, the KKW Beauty founder revealed, "It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
Kim Kardashian went on to pay homage to the show that made them famous and acknowledged the ups and downs that her family has been though. "After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children," she wrote.
Saying that she'll "forever cherish the wonderful memories" they've made as a family, the "KUWTK" star took her hat off to Ryan Seacrest for giving them their shot on television.
"Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives," Kim Kardashian added.
For those who are devastated, there is still one more season to come. Kanye West's wife told her followers that "Our last season will air early next year in 2021." She also reflected on how "KUWTK" changed her life for the better.
"Without Keeping Up with The Kardashians, I wouldn’t be where I am today," she continued. " I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who has watched and supported me and my family these past 14 incredible years. This show made us who we are and I will be forever in debt to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever."
Fans were worried the end was drawing near after Kourtney Kardashian slowly began pulling away from the spotlight. It appears their concerns were justified.
