Justin Bieber‘s manager may be on opposite ends of the political spectrum with the “Bawitdaba” singer these days, but back in 2005 things were different.
Both Scooter and Kid attended the 12th Annual Music MidTown Festival in Piedmont, GA.
The two stars were seen hanging out backstage, and along with both rocking some fresh early 2000s style and faces, they appeared to be very friendly.
They were also seen hanging with Doug E. Fresh, and although they didn’t know at the time … both Scooter and Kid would be cosmically connected later in life.
Another notable event that went down in 2005 — 16-year-old Taylor Swift signed her first big record deal with Big Machine Records.
Little did Taylor know that 14 years later, Scooter would end up purchasing Big Machine Records and acquiring all it’s master recordings, including Swift’s lucrative music catalog.
Shortly after the deal was announced, the “You Need to Calm Down” singer did anything but, and lashed out at Scooter, calling him a bully and claiming she got screwed by not having a chance to purchase her own master recordings.
Since her rant, many of the people involved in the deal have refuted Swift’s claims while backing Scooter.
To be fair, Scooter has not said a negative thing about Taylor and even tried to reach out and talk after he bought her catalog.
As we reported, Kid Rock’s situation is a tad different than Scooter, as the rocker made a very crude remark at Swift that many deemed disgusting and misogynistic.
Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl.

Swift has not yet responded to Kid, but the Internet definitely responded appropriately by shaming the star over the aggressive message.
Scooter Braun is also a big Democrat, so it’s unclear if him and Kid would see eye to eye these days … but they’ll always have the 2005 Music MidTown Festival.
