"Every now and then," Khloé responded. "There's no issues. There's no bad blood. There's no anything."
She then added, "It just didn't work out and I think he's an incredible person and I just want the best for him. But there's no negative anything."
Lamar Odom has a new memoir coming out, "Darkness to Light," in an excerpt obtained by PEOPLE, expressed his regret for cheating on Khloé Kardashian during their four-year marriage.
"I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity,” Lamar writes. “Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression … I couldn’t keep my d**k in my pants or the coke out of my nose. Drug addicts are incredibly skilled at hiding their habit. I’d get defensive and Khloé would just drop it."
Odom told PEOPLE that he "hopes" to be friends with Kardashian again and says, "I miss the family. And I hope we can all be reacquainted one day."
