Keyshia Cole Accused Of Blowing Off $50,000 Court Battle With Landlord Over Allegedly Trashed Home

By Ryan Naumann

"Love & Hip Hop" star Keyshia Cole is close to be hit with a $50,000 judgment in a battle with her ex-landlord, accusing her of trashing a rental.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the singer has blown off the lawsuit brought by a man named Glenn Feldman.

Feldman sued Cole accusing her of trashing his $2.5 million rental home. He said the repair bills totaled $41,681, along with $30k in lost rent. He is seeking a total of $53,386.32.

In newly filed docs, Feldman is asking the judge to grant him a default judgment. He says Cole was served with the legal documents but has failed to show up in court.

He believes the case has stalled long enough and is requesting a court order awarding him the full $53k. The judge has yet to rule.

Back in October, Feldman sued Cole in Los Angeles Court. He accused her of causing severe damage to his $2.5 million luxury rental home in Marina Del Rey. In the lawsuit, Feldman said the singer rented his 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, 3,237 sq. ft. home, located in an exclusive gated beach community. Cole signed a lease on March 1, 2017 and lived there until May 2019.

Feldman says, “Defendants breached the lease, as extended, by causing extensive damage to the Property which rendered it unrentable and which caused substantial damages in form of repair costs by Plaintiff in the total sum of not less than $69,925.49, for the damages and repair work, as more fully set forth and itemized on the statement.”

He added, “the Property was unrentable for not less than three (3) months” and believes he lost $30,000 in rent.

The lawsuit said the breakdown of damages included $6,300 for repair, plaster and painting, $1,400 for blinds, $1,200 for carpeting, $8,700 for Marble Restoration, $6,500 on downstairs floor recovery, $750 for tree cutting, $750 for “master clean up”, $450 for front door repairs “all chewed up by dogs presumably”, $800 for landscaping and $10,500 for “JT General Construction Electrical repairs and general carpentry).

Cole is also still trying to finalize her divorce from her ex Daniel Gibson. She recently deleted her social media accounts after beefing with rapper O.T. Genasis.
