Kevin Hart scored a victory in court after a judge sided with the comedian in a nasty legal battle.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, a New York judge has denied a motion brought by Hart’s ex-business partners, iGo Marketing & Entertainment.
Last month, iGo Marketing & Entertainment were awarded $701,593.73 in the lawsuit they brought against Hart. The company rushed to court after the judgment, demanding it be increased to $952,793.54. They believed the judge miscalculated the damages. The motion came only days after Hart was released from the hospital, following his nasty car accident.
Hart fired back pleading with the judge to shut down iGo Marketing & Entertainment. He believed the original judgement of $701k was accurate.
The judge ordered Hart will only have to pay the $701k to his ex-partners.
