Coca-Cola Denies Working With Kendall Jenner But Appreciates 'The Love'

By Whitney Vasquez

Kendall Jenner is NOT working with Coca-Cola despite the images circulating the web appearing to be an ad.

A rep for the soda company tells The Blast, "Coca-Cola did not pay Kendall Jenner to take those photos, nor is she a paid spokesperson for the company although we very much appreciate the love."

The spokesperson adds, "There is nothing better than a cold Coke on a summer day, and it seems as though Kendall agrees."

The Internet lost its mind early this week after Jenner was seen leaving a deli in NYC with a Coca-Cola in hand, especially because she's a former Pepsi spokesperson.

Rumors began to swirl that the supermodel was working with the soda giant for multiple reasons -- including the label being perfectly photographed, the model matching their newest flavored orange vanilla can and a pic she shared which looked like an ad.

Jenner's 2017 "Live for Moments Anthem" commercial famously became the most hated and controversial Pepsi ad to date.

People were outraged after the ad seemed to say regardless of what was going on in the world, drinking a Pepsi could make it all go away. Many said it disrespectful to movements like Black Lives Matter.

24 hours after the commercial was released, Pepsi pulled the ad.

Jenner addressed the situation on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and broke down when explaining her side.

"When I first got this offer, I mean it's a huge company. The people I was following were so iconic and amazing," she said in the confessional. "Michael Jackson has done it. Britney Spears has done it. Beyoncé has done it. Pink. The list goes on."

"After I saw the reaction and I read what people had to say about it, I most definitely saw what went wrong," Jenner continued with tears in her eyes. "Like I just felt so f*cking stupid. The fact that I would offend other people or hurt other people was definitely not the intent."
