Kelly Clarkson Is a Savage On 'The Voice' and Fans Love It

By Gary Trock

Season 17 of "The Voice" kicked off with the first round of blind auditions, and the fireworks have already kicked off in the big red chairs.

Gwen Stefani is already in the lead with three singers on her team, however Kelly Clarkson is the one making waves as she has been RUTHLESS against fellow coaches Blake Shelton and John Legend.

From Clarkson ripping on Shelton for mispronouncing EGOT as EGRET, to telling contestant Rose Short that her cover of Legend's song, "Preach," "annihilated" the original singer ... Kelly emerged victorious for most devastating burns.

Even Shelton took notice of Clarkson's fire, by commenting that she doesn't have to be so mean just because she's sitting in Adam Levine's old chair.

Fans of the show loved it, however, and praised the talk show host for putting everyone in check.

"Kelly is the new Adam," one fan wrote, noting that she loved the star "making fun of Blake all day long."

Another commented, "So just watched the voice and omg kelly i adore her she makes me laugh so much @kellyclarkson keep doing what you are doing, laugh and no chill."

One fan took a shot at "American Idol" by writing, "The smartest thing that #TheVoice @NBCTheVoice did is stolen Kelly Clarkson from @AmericanIdol. I can watch Kelly Clarkson all day and her talk show is amazing."

Not everyone was a fan of Clarkson's brutal honest, with some fans thinking it was too much for the first night.

One Shelton fan commented, "What’s up with Kelly and her Dissing Blake all the time? So annoying."

Another noted, "She is so annoying I am going to give it 1 or 2 more shows before I stop watching if she doesn’t change. Maybe it’s the producers trying to make it the Kelly Clarkson Voice show, but whatever it is, I can’t stand how she doesn’t shut up."

Ya can't please 'em all ... but we can't wait for what Clarkson has to say during the second night of blind auditions on "The Voice," as they continue Tuesday night on NBC.
