Kelly Clarkson Files For Divorce From Husband Brandon Blackstock

Kelly Clarkson has decided to pull the plug on her marriage to Brandon Blackstock. The 38-year-old talk show host has filed for divorce after almost seven years of marriage. The "Since You've Been Gone" singer filed in Los Angeles court last week on June 4, according to documents obtained by The Blast. Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock, who said "I do" in 2013, have two children together -- five-year-old daughter River Rose and four-year-old son Remington Alexander. It's interesting timing considering the duo recently put their family home on the market.

As The Blast reported, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock listed their $10 million home in Los Angeles last month. The rustic industrial-inspired home sits in Encino located in the San Fernando Valley and has eight-bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and two half baths, according to its listing. "The Kelly Clarkson Show" host's home boasts extra high wood-beam ceilings and an open floor plan. The sprawling property is listed for $9,995,000. While she's filed for divorce, the duo has recently spent time together.

After just ten months of dating, Brandon Blackstock dropped to his knee and asked for Kelly Clarkson's hand in marriage. The duo wed in a barn-inspired ceremony in October 2013. That year, she opened up to Cosmopolitan saying she was convinced they were going to spend the rest of their lives together. “Brandon's totally the one," she told the outlet. "I've never been so happy."

Bradon Blackstock is Kelly Clarkson's first husband, but he's been married before. Prior to his wedding with the country superstar, he walked down the aisle with his first wife, Melissa Ashworth. He has two children from that marriage and Clarkson has a wonderful relationship with both kids.
