Kelly Clarkson Brings Out Dr. Pimple Popper For Live Procedure on Talk Show Audience Member

Kelly Clarkson took the stage with Dr. Pimple Popper to do a live procedure on one of her talk show audience members.

Clarkson, along with guest Tracee Ellis Ross, appeared alongside the doctor (real name: Sandra Lee). They also had one of Clarkson’s audience members in a chair and ready to have whiteheads removed.

Dr. Pimple Popper was ready to spill the secrets of properly popping pimples. She told the audience to try not to pop your own pimples. She said many do it incorrectly at home.

She did give tips to properly do it since “many of us are inclined” to do it ourselves. The biggest advice was to not have dirty hands when touching your face.

During the segment, Dr. Pimple Popper brought out her tools to use on the audience member. Clarkson asked her if she felt like she was in the zoo but she responded “it’s fine.” They then showed close up of Dr. Pimple Popper removing the whiteheads.

Ellis Ross had questions about which products to use during popping. Dr. Pimple Popper was able to remove multiple whiteheads from the audience member.

At one-point Ellis Ross asked, “Did the camera get that?” and Dr. Pimple Popper asked the audience member if she wanted to keep the whitehead that was removed.

Clarkson’s talk show launched this month to huge numbers. Deadline reported the show had the highest debut rating for any syndicated show in seven years. The premiere episode had a 1.9 household rating. The debut was on par with the premiere of Katie Couric’s talk show in 2012.

Sources close to production tell The Blast that everyone is very excited for Kelly and she has been a joy to work with.
