Keanu Reeves has found his match! The 55-year-old "Bill & Ted Face the Music" actor made his red carpet debut with his rumored new girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, over the weekend. Fans were shocked when he posed with the 46-year-old Los Angeles artist marking his first public relationship in decades. The last girlfriend he went public with was Jennifer Syme. They met in 1998, fell in love in 1999 and announced they were expecting a child. Sadly, she gave birth to a stillborn and died 18 months later.

The "John Wick: Chapter 4" star held hands with Alexandra Grant on Saturday while attending the LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci in Los Angeles. Wearing a tailored black suit, with matching vest and tie, Keanu Reeves wore his long hair messy and tousled as he posed beside his new leading lady. Alexandra Grant stunned in a silk midnight blue gown with a deep v neck and beading. Sporting her gray locks up and out of her face, she paired the look with long earrings, silver heels, and bold red lips.

Romance rumors began circulating between the two after the actor and the artist were seen getting cozy at sushi together the month prior, but their debut over the weekend seemed to confirm the frenzy. They didn't let go of each other's hands the entire event, showing just how into the newfound love they actually are. While fans didn't see Keanu Reeves' relationship with Alexandra Grant coming, it's not out of left field. The duo have been friends and collaborators together for years. She first worked with the actor on his 2011 book, "Ode to Happiness." They collaborated again in 2016 for his book "Shadows," where Alexandra Grant was the illustrator. Their working relationship didn't stop there. The couple also founded publishing house X Artists’ Books in 2017 together.

Keanu has experienced tragedy all of his life and some say he's cursed. It all started when his father reportedly walked out on his family when he was just three years old. Fast forward to his adult life when he began working in the movie industry. He quickly became best friends with River Phoenix, who developed a drug addiction while filming "My Own Private Idaho," a project Keanu Reeves reportedly encouraged him to do. River Phoenix died of a drug overdose in 1993 outside of the famed celebrity hotspot, Viper Room.
Five years later, Keanu Reeves fell in love with David Lynch’s assistant, Jennifer Syme. The two had a whirlwind romance and the actor said they “fell instantly in love.” In December 1999, while he was filming "The Matrix," Jennifer Syme gave birth to a stillborn. The baby was a girl and they named her Ava Archer Symes-Reeves. 18 months later, Jennifer died unexpectedly in a car accident after partying at Marilyn Manson's home. Keanu rarely talks about his past life with Jennifer but opened up in a heartfelt Instagram post in 2016 stating, "Since then I avoid serious relationships and having kinds [sic]."
