Kanye West posted a new video on his website showing a deep political discussion he had with T.I. during the making of their song, “Ye vs. The People,” where the rappers went back and forth over Kanye’s recent political tweets.
At one point during the exchange, Kanye says, “Half the shit Trump does, I don’t agree with.”
To which T.I. immediately interjects, “What half do you agree with?”
Kanye’s response: “Just the ability to do what no one said you can do, to do the impossible, is the most inspiring thing to me.”
The song features Kanye and T.I. going back and forth, point for point, over several hot-button political issues.
At one point, Ye raps:
See that’s the problem with this damn nation
All Blacks gotta be Democrats, man
We ain’t made it off the plantation
To which T.I. counters:
F**k who you choose as your political party
You representin’ dudes just seem crude and cold-hearted
With blatant disregard for the people who put you in position
Don’t you feel an obligation to them?
Things have been so heated, Daz Dillinger posted a video threatening Kanye if he ventured out of Calabasas.
