Many people on Twitter were quick to call out Kanye for their belief his Presidential aspirations may more sinister goals. Fans think Kanye is throwing his name in the ring to help out his buddy Trump. They believe the goal is to take away a majority of African-American voters from Biden.
Trump’s political advisors have been known to pull this stunt. In the Netflix documentary, “Get Me Roger Stone”, Trump’s advisor Roger Stone details using the strategy in past elections with great success.
One person on social media wrote, “Y’all know damn well Kanye West ain’t running to take away support from his MAGA buddy, Donald Trump. He’s definitely looking to play Jill Stein 2020 to grab those “Never Biden” voters still in denial that they’re helping Trump just because they think their principles mean shit.”
“Great another unqualified, unfit person trying to think he can be president. What you not getting enough attention lately??? Oh wait this must be your way of helping get Trump elected by trying to divide African American voters? GTFOH you trump lover #kanyeisaJOKE,” said another.
Another wrote, “Kanye West is hoping Blacks will peal away from Biden and waste their vote on him, in other words, trick minority voters into helping Trump. How fucking disgraceful is that? Kanye hopes black voters are morons and can’t see this con job.”
