She’s taking on a more dramatic role.
Fans know Kaley Cuoco as the fun-loving and bubbly Penny from the megahit sitcom The Big Bang Theory.
Now that The Big Bang Theory has come to an end after 12 seasons, Cuoco went to work to find her next major project. The actress signed a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Television Group, announcing on Monday that she will be working with the production company on a number of projects in the coming years.
She explained that she and Warner had an “incredibly collaborative and gratifying relationship. They’re stuck with me now!”
First up will be The Flight Attendant, a thriller based on Chris Bohjalian’s novel. The series will hit the upcoming WarnerMedia streaming service in 2020.
It’s exciting to see Cuoco moving onto new and exciting things, but she’ll always be Penny to us!
