Justin Hartley's wife is speaking out for the first time following the "This Is Us" actor filing for divorce nearly two weeks ago and she's seemingly pointing at him for the reason behind the split. Taking to social media for the very first time since the surprising breakup, Chrishell Stause -- real name Terrina Chrishell Hartley -- shared a cryptic post on Monday and it has fans talking. While the "Selling Sunset" star isn't calling Hartley out by name, she is referring to watching someone change over time.

Sharing a quote written by author Nishan Panwar, the 38-year-old soap opera actress's message read, “It’s hard to watch people change right in front of you. But it’s even harder remembering who they used to be." How's that for timing? She didn't caption the mysterious message but instantly fans, as well as her famous friends, reached out to lend their social media support. Her "Young and the Restless" co-star Tracey Bregman wrote, “Sending love to you,” while "One Life To Live" star Brittany Underwood responded to Chrishell's post by writing, "Sending you lots of love girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️." Brittany Cartwright and Ariana Madix from "Vanderpump Rules" each left several heart emojis in her comment section. Fans made sure to send Chrishell their love too. "❤️❤️love from your home state, Kentucky. Stay strong and take care of yourself," one fan wrote. "You will get through this, his loss and his mistake. So very sorry you are going through this during the holidays," added another. "Tough times for sure but a year from now you will realize how strong you really are and come out the other side even a better person," commented a third follower.

As The Blast reported, Justin Hartley filed for divorce from Chrishell Stause on November 22 after just two years of marriage. While the "This Is Us" actor stated "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, he dated the date of their separation as July 8, 2019, but they've been spotted at several events together, including a Golden Globes 2020 Ambassador event on November 14 and they looked pretty cozy. According to the divorce documents, Hartley also checked off the box denying Chrishell spousal support. The duo tied to knot in 2017 during a rustic ceremony in Malibu. After their surprisingly split, a source told People Hartley and Chrishell were on two separate pages when it came to their future.

The insider told the outlet they have “been having trouble for a while,” and added, “in many ways, they’re somewhat fundamentally incompatible." Hartley is focused on his career at the moment while Chrishell is ready to add more than actress and wife to her plate. “Chrishell is really ready to just settle down and be a wife and stay-at-home mom and was hoping to start a family relatively soon,” the source said. “Justin wants that but also doesn’t think it has to happen in the near future and is at a point in his career where he wants to really be able to explore all the options that are coming his way," the source continued. “He’s reached a new level of fame thanks to the show and he doesn’t want to close many doors right now, and that’s not the path Chrishell is looking to take. She thought babies would happen soon after they got married, but it just hasn’t worked out.” As for Hartley, he's already a dad to his 15-year-old daughter, Isabella, who he shares with his ex-wife, soap star Lindsay Korman.
