Justin Hartley is reported not happy with his estranged wife Chrishell Stause for how she portrayed their divorce on “Selling Sunset.” The third season the Netflix series debuted on Friday, August 7, and the “This Is Us” star’s relationship and divorce was a huge topic on the show.
As The Blast reported, Justin Hartley filed for divorce from Chrishell Stause after just two years of marriage in November, something the reality star claimed she was “blindsided” with. In the new season, Chrishell reveals even more devastating details about their split and her ex isn’t thrilled.
According to Us Weekly, “Justin has not watched the episodes but has been alerted to what is said.” Their source claims “he’s irritated that she’s airing their private information publicly” and that it’s completely one-sided because his estranged wife “knows there is more to the story than is being told.”
While the “This Is Us” star is remaining silent, the outlet’s insider continued, “His close friends and family know what really happened, as does Chrishell, so ultimately it’s her choice of what is put out there.”
In a clip released prior to season three’s drop, Chrishell Stause appeared in tears as she claimed to have learned about Justin Hartley filing for divorce through a text message. “I found out because he text[ed] me that we were filed,” she tearfully alleged. “Forty-five minutes later, the world knew.”
She also claimed to be searching for answers about what went wrong. “In a fight, that’s his go-to, you know? Like, ‘I’m out, I’m out.’ I hate that kind of impulsive stuff, but I always just thought, you know, that’s just an issue that we work through it.”
While Justin Hartley has not spoke out yet about the issue, Chrishell Stause’s co-star and frenemy Christine Quinn hasn’t been as kind. As The Blast reported, Quinn revealed that Chrishell Stause and Justin Hartley reportedly attempted marriage counseling before their split. “We all just thought maybe they were having communication problems for a while,” she told Page Six.
Chrishell put Quinn ON BLAST after she spoke out about her failed marriage, claiming her co-star “knows absolutely nothing about the situation and is obviously desperate to gain attention by doing so.”
It’s so frustrating and unfortunate that someone would use someone’s personal painful situation to get press for themselves. I can’t say I am surprised, but please check the source. She has absolutely zero knowledge of the marriage we had.
